Llansawel is a town in Carmarthenshire County, South Wales. Llansawel lies south east of Rydcymerau, north west of Talley and south west of Caio. The town sits at the confluence of the Afon Marlais and the Afon Melinddwr.
To the west of Llansawel lies the Brechfa Forest, renowned for the forest trails, horse riding trails and the ever more popular Mountain Bike Trails. The nearest mountain is Banc Beili-Tew(278m). The town boasts a church, pub and B&B's.
