Llangedwyn is a small village which lies on the banks of the Afon Tanat in the Tanat Valley near the Wales/England border, in the county of Powys, Mid Wales.
Nearby towns and villages are Pen y bont, Llanyblodwel, Llanfechain, Bwlch-y-ddar, Pentrefelin and Llansilin.
Llangedwyn lies to the south of the Berwyn mountain range, it is great walking country, and there are an abundance of trails criss-crossing the rolling landscape.
Attractions
The remains of the Llwyn Bryn Dinas Hillfort are to be found to the west of the village and the famous Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall is located in the hills some ten miles from Llangedwyn. The village boasts its own pub the Green Inn and there are a number of craft workshops located close to the river bank on the site of a former mill.
