Llanddeusant is a picturesque village in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park in the county of Camarthenshire, South West Wales. The village name translates as 'church of two saints', following popular belief that this was the meeting place of Saint Teilo and Saint David.

Llanddeusant is famous for it's scenic beauty, the Black Mountain, magical tales of the Lady of the Lake at Llyn-y-Fan-Fach and of course it's nesting and breeding population of red kites and other birds of prey.

Llanddeusant is set in the least developed area of the Brecon Beacons, close to the magical Sawdde Valley and is a great location for families and individuals alike. Trails, including the Beacons Way, lead up from the village to the legendary Llyn y Fan glacial lake and the heights of the Carmarthen Fans. Circular walks will take you to an Iron Age fort, Roman camps and standing stones.

Other nearby attractions include the National Botanic Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens, and the medieval castles of Dryslwyn, and Carreg Cennen, which are all within easy reach.

But wild life lovers will most appreciate the Red Kite Feeding Station that can be found in Llanddeusant itself, with over 50 red kites and buzzards coming to feed every day. You won't need binoculars to watch these birds—they'll be close enough! For some midday lunch, try heading to one of the pubs in the village for some delicious meals.
