The village of Greenfield lies in the county of Flintshire, North Wales. It is bordered to the south by Holway, Saith Ffynnon to the south west and the Dee estuary to the north and east. Nearby towns and villages include Holywell, Flint, Chester, Mold, Buckley, Shotton, Caerwys, Carmel, Pantasaph and Connah's Quay. The A548 road runs through the village, whilst the A55 expressway passes just under 3km south west of Greenfield, giving the village easy access to Holyhead and Chester.

Greenfield Valley Heritage Park sits between Greenfield and Holywell. The park includes the historic Greenfield, Abbey Wire and Meadow mills, visitor museum, the ruins of Basingwerk Abbey, and the famous St Winifred's Well, also known as the “Lourdes of Wales.” The heritage park also includes a small farm, which is home to animals such as pigs and geese. Fishing is available at the heritage park, with a good stock of mirror carp, bream gudgeon, common carp, perch, ghost carp, tenth, crucian carp, roach and rudd.
