Fleur de Lis is a small village close to the town of Blackwood in Caerphilly County, South Wales. It is bordered by Pengam to the north, Maesycwmmer to the south, Pontllanfraith to the south east and Tir-y-berth to the west. The village sits on the banks of the Rhymney river, which flows onwards through Caerphilly before joining the Severn estuary at Cardiff Bay.
The Secondary School Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni is located in Fleur de Lys.
There are many walks criss-crossing the hills and valleys and the Rhymny Valley Ridgeway Walk and the Syrhowy Valley Walk are within a mile of Fleur-de-lis.
