Dukestown is a district of Tredegar in Blaenau Gwent, South Wales. It is bordered by Trefil to the north, Willowtown to the east, Ashvale to the west and Tredegar town centre to the south.
Parc Bryn Bach is just half a kilometre west of Dukestown and is an ideal spot for spending a picnic with the family. It also offers a wide range of sporting activities, including archery, orienteering, mountain biking, climbing/abseiling, hill walking, caving, gorge walking, team building activities and kayaking. A 9 hole, par 3 golf course is also situated within the grounds of Parc Bryn Bach.
Bedwellty House in Tredegar is a beautiful Victorian house which sits amongst 26 acres of garden. Built in 1818, the Grade II listed building is considered one of the most magnificent Ironmasters' residences in Blaenau Gwent. The parkland, which was designed as a Dutch garden, is an ideal place to take a relaxing walk, whilst the Ice House, bandstand, gazebo, duck ponds and the world famous lump of coal are also open to the public.
