Dolwen, Conwy County
Dolwen is a hamlet that sits in Conwy County, North Wales. Dolwen lies to the south east of Colwyn Bay, the south of Llysfaen and the north west of Betws-yn-Rhos.
The pleasant rolling countryside offers many opportunities for country walks, and indeed the North Wales Path passes close to the village.
Following the Second World War Dolwen became a camping centre for Boy Scouts. The Heronwater Estate part of the Coed Coch Estate played host to cubs and boy scouts for several years. Heronwater later became the Living Waters Christian Centre.
