Cefn Cribwr is a village near Bridgend, south Wales. It is bordered by the M4 motorway to the south, Kenfig Hill to the west, north Bridgend to the east and Ffordd-y-Gyfraith to the north. Because of its close proximity to the motorway, there is easy access from Cefn Cribwr to Swansea and Cardiff.
Nearby towns and villages include Pyle, North Connelly, Tondu, Sarn, Aberkenfig, Ewenny, Laleston, Porthcawl, Ogmore by Sea, St Brides Major, Ewenny and Merthyr Mawr.
Although small, you can find plenty of amenities in the village, such as a Post Office, Chinese takeaway, grocery store, shop, athletic club, sports ground, two playgrounds, six churches and a garage.
In March 2005 the Bethlehem Life Centre was opened, offering a coffee shop, sports hall and Internet facilities to the children and young people of Cefn Cribwr.
Bedford Park is the ideal place to head to for some peace and relaxation. It is home to the Cefn Cribwr Ironworks, one of the most complete of its kind in Britain, as well as a picnic area, a children's playground and waymarked nature trails.
There is an enclosure 1.5km south of Cefn Cribwr which is worth a visit if you have some free time on your hands.
