Capel Carmel, Gwynedd
Capel Carmel sits on the Llyn Peninsula, in County Gwynedd, North West Wales. Nearby villages include Anelog, Rhoshirwaun, Pwlldefaid, Uwch mynydd and the popular seaside resort of Aberdaron.
The village is close to Whistling Sands, or Porth Oer, one of Wales' finest beaches. The countryside around Capel Carmel is some of Wales finest walking country and the Llyn Coastal Path passes by the village.
It is just a short walk from Capel Carmel to Mynydd Anelog which offers fine views of Bardsey Island, the island of 20,000 Saints.
