Brynford is a small village in Flintshire, North Wales. It is bordered by Holywell to the north east, Lixwm to the south, Babell to the south west and Milwr to the east. Nearby towns and villages include Flint, Flint Mountain, Pantasaph, Gorsedd, Carmel, Nannerch, Bagillt and Greenfield. Brynford sits close to the A55 expressway, giving easy access to Holyhead in the west and Chester in the east.
The church is dedicated to St Michael and was built in 1853. It has been heavily restored over the years, and today consists of a single nave, chancel and Victorian style windows.
Part of the National Cycle Network passes through the village and a golf course is situated between Brynford and Calcoed.
