Betws yn Rhos lies south of Llysfaen in Conwy county, North Wales. It is bordered by Abergele to the north east, Llanfair Talhaearn to the south east, Dolwen to the west and Moelfre to the east. Nearby towns and villages include Colwyn Bay, Rhyl, Conwy, Llanelian-yn-Rhos, Llanddulas and St Asaph. The river Dulas passes north west of Betws yn Rhos before entering the sea near Llanddulas.
The village church is dedicated to St Michael. The original building dated back to 1254 but with the heavy church renovations taking place during the Victorian era, this building was torn down in 1838 and replaced with the present church.
A golf club can be found in the north western corner of Betws yn Rhos.
