Preston on Wye, Herefordshire
The village of Preston on Wye is situated on the south bank of the River Wye, in Herefordshire, England. It is surrounded by the towns and villages of Monnington on Wye, Byford, Bridge sollers, Portway and Tyberton.
St Lawrence's church, and both a Baptist chapel and a Methodist chapel, lie within the village.
The Wye Valley walk follows the Wye river close to the village. The Wye Valley footpath passes within one mile of the village as it meanders 136 miles from Chepstow through Rhayader and on to Plynlymon, close to the west coast of Wales.
The village lies to the north of the Golden Valley
