The hamlet of Trefdraeth is located near Bethel off the B4422 road on the south western corner of Anglesey, North Wales. It is 2km north of the seaside hamlet of Malltraeth, where the Afon Cefni flows into the Irish Sea at Malltraeth Bay. There is easy access to the town of Holyhead and the Irish Sea Ferries via the Bodorgan Railway Station. Local attractions include the beaches of Malltraeth Bay, Aberffraw, Llanddwyn Island, and the nature reserve of Newborough Warren. Anglers will appreciate the fishing for Brown Trout and Sea Trout at the 80 acre lake Llyn Coron, just 3km from Trefdraeth. And should you feel a bit more energetic the North Wales Cycle Route passes through the village on its way from Holyhead to Chester.
