Llanrumney (Welsh Llanrhymni) is a suburb of the City of Cardiff, the capital city of Wales. It stands to the north east of the City Centre on the west bank of the Rhymney River between the Rhymney River and the Severn Estuary. The name Llanrumney comes from the Welsh word Llan, meaning "Church", and Rumney the Anglicised version of Rhymney.
