Llangennech is a village that sits between the Afon Morlais and the estuary of the Loughor, in the county of Carmarthenshire, South West Wales. The village lies on the A4138 road between Pontardulais and Llanelli.
There are many footpaths around the area and the popular long distance footpath of St Illtyd's Walk passes close to Llangennech en-route from the Afan Valley to the coast at Pembrey. Head south and it is just a few miles to the Loughor Estuary and the Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre at Llanelli. ....
