Llanelwedd is a village in Powys, Mid Wales. The village sits on the banks of the River Wye, which travels from its source in the Plymlimon mountains down to the Severn estuary near Chepstow.
The village is located across the river from the town of Builth Wells and is most well known as the site of the Royal Welsh Showground, which hosts a number of attractions during the year as well as the Royal Welsh agricultural show.
