Laleston sits near the town of Bridgend in South Wales. It is located on the A473 road, which travels into Bridgend and on to Pontypridd. The M4 motorway is only 3.5km north of the village, giving easy access to Swansea and Cardiff.
Laleston village lies just two miles from the centre of Bridgend and was renowned for having not one but three public houses, The Mackworth Arms (1800's), The Laleston Inn (1600's) and the Oystercatcher (1500's).
