Cheriton sits in the north west corner of the Gower Peninsula in South West Wales. The village, part of the county area of the City of Swansea, is 13 miles, 20 km, to the west of the city in a delightful rural area. The parish church is dedicated to St Cadoc and dates back to the 13th century.
Some of the peninsula's best beaches are within close reach of Cheriton. Rhossili Bay lies south west of the village and has superb views of Worms Head. One of the Gower's most fabulous beaches it is a perfect spot for rock pooling, fishing, surfing, bodyboarding and swimming (visitors to the beach should be aware that the tide rises quickly). ....
