Benllech is a seaside resort on the east coast of Anglesey North Wales. With it's golden sands a clear blue sea and safe beach area Benllech is popular for traditional family holidays. The town itself is quite small (population 2,340) with many residents having retired to the town after spending many happy holidays in Benllech. Much of the town straddles the A5025 east coast Anglesey road, as indeed does the shopping centre. Although there are no large chain stores there is a number of supermarkets and a variety of shops supplying the needs of visitors and locals alike. However, one does not visit Benllech for the shopping.
The beautiful Anglesey countryside and glorious beaches ensure visitors return year after year. Children are happy to while away their holidays on Benllech's famous beach. Beach rangers patrol the beach in the summer months and organised games offer other options to the kids than crabbing, rock pooling and paddling in the sea.....
