Until 11th February - Ivor Davies RCA Exhibition - at The Royal Cambrian Academy, Crown Lane, Conwy. A stunning and unique exhibition of paintings by one of Wales’ most prestigious artists, exploring the fascinating history of Wales’ past greats. Tel: (01492) 593413

11th February - Nick Beer 10K Race - A 10 kilometre road race around the Great Orme starting from Llandudno Pier at 12 noon and finishing opposite Venue Cymru. Approximately 500 entrants. Minimum age for entry is 15 years. Cost £9 ,affiliated, £10 non-affiliated. Tel: 07967 119601

14th February - Spacing the Trees - Thinning out ash trees with loppers to give them more room to grow at Bryn Euryn Local Nature Reserve. Wear work clothes and strong boots. Bring lunch. 21st February - Family Fun around Llangernyw - It's half term! A morning of activities and a short walk for children to make a map and learn about the Countryside Code and wildlife of the area. 24th February - 4th March - St David’s Festival Week - A week of festivities including St David’s Day Concert, Gymanfa Ganu, Noson Lawen, Welsh language drop-in sessions, sports, crafts and arts in and around Colwyn Bay. Tel: (01492) 536000

Last Saturday of each month - Walk Through History - A walk on the flat around Llanrwst, lasting approximately 2 hours and taking in the history of the town, followed by refreshments in the Almshouses. Dogs and children welcome. Meet at the Llanrwst Almshouse Museum, Church Street, Llanrwst at 12.30pm. £3 per person. Tel: (01492) 642550
