Until 27th January 2007 – Exhibition: Arthur Bispo do Rosario – at Oriel Mostyn Gallery, Vaughan Street,
Llandudno. For 50 years Bispo do Rosario obsessively made the objects he believed worth saving on Judgement Day.
This extraordinary collection of flags, jackets, sculptures and assemblages is now part of Brazil’s national heritage. Tel: (01492) 879201

Every Thursday until 21st December – Christmas Cracker Family Variety Show – with something for all ages at Llandudno Town Hall at 2pm. Tickets available from Town Hall or Rhos-on-Sea Tourist Information Office. Tel: 07968 957177

2nd December – Magical Christmas Parade 2006 – A traditional Christmas spectacular organised by Llandudno Town Council with parade, land train and grand switch on of lights at Llandudno Town Hall. Parade starts from Llandudno Train Station at 4pm

2nd December – Music for Christmas – A concert at St Paul’s Church, Rhiw Road, Colwyn Bay from 7.30pm. Tickets £10 adults, £5 children

2nd & 3rd December – Guided Walks – At the Conwy RSPB Nature Reserve from 10am. Tel: (01492) 584091

2nd & 3rd December – Helfa Gelf Christmas – Open studios project with 33 artists and crafts people inviting the general public to visit their studios. Visit www.helfagelf.org for more information

2nd to 23rd December – Small Paintings and Christmas Craft – At The Royal Cambrian Academy, Crown Lane, Conwy – Contemporary craft and prestige paintings from all over Wales. Tel: (01492) 593413

5th and 6th December – It’s a Right Song and Dance – by Llandudno Musical Productions at the Town Hall, Lloyd Street, Llandudno. Doors at 7pm, show starts 8pm. Tickets £5 adults, £3 children. Tel: (01492) 879130

9th December – Christmas Fair – at Pensychnant Nature Conservation Centre, Conwy. An opportunity to do your Christmas shopping and help support local nature conservation. From 10am to 5pm. Tel: (01492) 592595

9th December – Christmas Decorations Naturally – Make your own decorations out of natural materials collected locally. Meet at 3pm in the Great Orme Country Park Visitor Centre, Llandudno. Booking necessary Tel: (01492) 575200

9th December – Christmas Concert – By Côr Cymysg Dyffryn Conwy - Gloria Vivaldi and extracts from the Messiah at St Paul’s Church, Craig-y-Don from 7.30pm. Tickets £7. Tel: (01492) 572995

24th December – Christmas Eve at Conwy – Christmas Carols in Lancaster Square at 6pm followed by walk to Conwy Castle to meet Santa at 7pm followed by fireworks

26th December – Llandudno Lions Club Annual Sea Dip – Registration at St George’s Hotel,
Llandudno by 10.30am with race at 11.30am. Sponsor and registration forms from Lions Charity Shop, Madoc Street, Llandudno. Tel: (01492) 876674

27th December – Llandudno Toy and Train Fair – at Venue Cymru, Promenade, Llandudno. 50 stalls selling collectable diecast toys and model trains, transport books, etc. from 10.30am to 3.30pm. Tel: (01492) 545053
