The Afon Cwm Llan is a river that rises on the
southern slopes of Snowdon, Gwynedd, North Wales. The river runs through
the hanging valley of Cwm Llan between the peaks of Y Lliwedd and Yr
Afon Cwm Llan tumbles through a picturesque series of
waterfalls before joining the Afon Glaslyn close to Bethania in the
Nant Gwynant Valley.
Following heavy rain the gently tumbling falls become a raging torrent popular with wild water enthusiasts in canoes and kayaks.
