This is one of a number of Bronze Age monuments on the hills above Penmaenmawr, North Wales. The Bronze Age Burial Monument stands a hundred yards to the west of the more famous and larger Penmaenmawr Druids’ Circle. When excavated it revealed a central pit filled with small pieces of quartz. Several other monuments from the 2nd millennium BC are close by, with a particularly noticeable set of stones to the east of the Druid’s Circle.
