The village of Bull Bay is found on the northern coast of the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales. It is a haven away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. As one of the most northern villages in Wales the bay offers spectacular views across the Irish Sea and on a clear day, you can see as far as the Isle of Man. Many people visit Bull Bay each year for its glorious coastline, with rocky outcrops, sandy coves and calm waters, perfect for the entire family. Head east and follow the trail to the historic town of Porth Amlwch, and continue to Point Lynas all the while keeping your eyes open for those elusive porpoises and dolphins that the keen nature lover might observe from the cliff tops.

History abounds here, with pre-historic burial grounds, the beautiful Llaneilian mediaeval church, and 17th century copper mines nearby. Take the trail to the west and nature lovers will appreciate the Cemlyn Nature Reserve situated nearby. It is a home to hundreds of terns, oystercatchers and ringed plovers, not to mention seals, brown hares, stoats, weasels, and different species of colourful butterflies. The Anglesey Coastal Path worms its way along the full stretch of the northern coastline, passing within yards of Bull Bay’s Golf Club, an 18-hole golf course which gives a warm welcome to visitors and invites them to its Open Competitions (2009).
