Porth Dafarch is a lovely little south west facing
beach on Holy Island Anglesey. Located on the coast road between
Trearddur Bay and South Stack it's perfect for a family day out if you
are holidaying in Anglesey. It has a sandy beach and rock pools, all the
children need. And if you are feeling a bit more adventurous there is a
path inviting you to explore around the rocky headland. There are no
shops, indeed no buildings nearby other than a toilet block. Places of
interest nearby include Trearddur Bay beach, with more facilities,
Rhoscolyn beach, picturesque, and the dramatic cliffs and RSPB reserve
at South Stack lighthouse.
