Penrhyn Bay beach is located between the Little Orme’s headland and Rhos
Point in Penrhyn Bay, Conwy County, North Wales. The beach is a mix of
sand and shingle. The banks of white shingle stones, in conjunction with
two rock groynes, were constructed as part of the coastal defences.
There are signs warning of mud and soft sand close to the rock groynes.
