Llangrannog has always been popular with locals and visitors alike. Boasting superb scenery with two sandy beaches; the main beach and the adjoining Cilborth Beach in a hidden cove. The small sandy cove of Cilborth can be reached by walking north from the beach at
low tide. If the tide is in take the coastal path which starts near
Caffi'r Patio and continue walking toward the peninsula known as Ynys Lochtyn. Be aware however that there is quite a climb down steep steps to Cilborth Beach.
There is a seafront car park and in the summer months
there is additional parking 5 minutes walk from the main beach. Dogs
are not allowed on the beach from May through September but the rest of
the family can have a really enjoyable day out at Llangrannog where
there is a well-stocked beach shop and caf.
To get to Llangrannog beach take the A487 coast road north from
Cardigan. After 10 miles, turn left at the village of Brynhoffnant
signposted Llangrannog on the B4334.
