Aberaeron South beach, Aberaeron, Ceredigion sits on
Cardigan Bay, facing the Irish Sea. The town of Aberaeron is a
delightful little harbour town with a growing reputation for its sea
food restaurants. Aberaeron South beach is a rock and shingle beach just
to the south of the town and harbour, and is my favourite Aberaeron
Fishing and boat trips are popular activities at the beach, as well as walks exploring the town and harbour.
The Cardigan Bay Coastal Path, part of the All Wales Coastal Path passes
alongside the beach and it is but a short walk for magnificent views of
the Cardigan Bay coastline.
There is a nearby wildlife reserve. Facilities include, toilets,
disabled toilets and slipway, and there are a number of fine sea food
restaurants close to the Aberaeron South Beach.
